Interactive Guardian map of the detained in Iran

Iran's official figures for the six weeks since the election include 2,500 arrests in Tehran alone, with as many as 150 still in jail and 30 dead. The true figures are believed to be much higher – the death toll could be in the hundreds . Our figures come from human rights groups and campaigners inside and outside Iran, news reports and our users. My Postcolonial / Cultural Analysis Of Yoga.

Someone asked me the other day why I sport a "Fuck Yoga" T-shirt. That I designed and silkscreened myself. So: Thoughts for the day: On Yoga. L'histoire de la petite coccinelle.

Il y était une fois, une étagère dans mon appartement à Montréal. Les coccinelles Montréalaises de 3E avenue aimaient bien se fréquenter dans cette étagère, et choissisaient même parfois vivre parmi ses petites cachettes. Quand je me suis préparée à déménager de Montréal à St. Catharines, j’ai dit aux coccinnelles qu’il fallait leur trouver une nouvelle fréquentation / habitation (selon le cas). J’ai nettoyé l’étagère avec toute reconnaissance aux coccinnelles pour avoir bien ensoleillé mon étagère, aussi bien que ma chambre, avec leur couleurs et petits esprits printempiennes et printempiens. Pour quelques jours après la nettoyage, l’étagère prenait une position de solitude, ses portes et ses vitres témoins de sa silence. Et durant ces jours, quelques coccinnelles passaient aussi pour lui dire leurs au revoirs. Avec mon cœur rempli de reconaissance ainsi, l’étagère m’accompagnait à travers le 401. Trois mois plus tard, l’étagère --- toujours en train de prendre sa position de silence
